So much to do with so little time.
That is what I am feeling now for the past few weeks. Me and the other members of the Iligan Bloggers Society (IBS) have been busy planning and preparing for the upcoming 5th Mindanao Bloggers Summit which will be held here in Iligan City. We have activities lined up before the summit - launching and induction of officers of the IBS in August 26, 2011; Blogging 101 Seminar on September 22, 2011 and the Summit proper in October 29, 2011. Aside from this major (official, hehe) activities, we also have extra activities like the Fam Tour at Tourism Triangle which we did last August 7, 2011. We also conducted a Google Mapping Party last July 30, 2011. And our upcoming activities include the night life photo walk, tree planting, and other Fam Tours before the day of the summit. We are doing these to help promote Iligan City as a peaceful place to be in and to promote the many beautiful destinations the city has to offer.
Aside from the IBS activities, there are also other activities that need my attention. Now, my dilemma as I am writing this, is ... what do I do first? I have already many delayed blogposts that I need to write. Have to update the tourism website. Have to sew bags to be used for the summit. Have to sew bags to sell during fiesta in September. Then there's the 20th reunion of our high school batch come December of which I am a secretary and acting treasurer. Have to upload photos of previous activities to share to other IBS members. Have to create the blog site for my Iligan souvenir items which supposedly have to be up by September.
Whew! Double whew.
Now, talking about wishing some dreams, huh? Be really careful what you wish for, it just might come true. That's what is now happening to me. Dreamed of a busy life. Dreamed of an exciting life. Dreamed of adventure. Dreamed of a meaningful life. Well, I am now starting to live my dreams. And I am overwhelmed by it. But, I have no regrets. I like it. I just need to really manage my time. Take it one day at a time. Take it one task at a time.
Well, enough for this so I can already do the other tasks waiting in line. :-)
"Be careful what you wish for!" .. Yes that's the line i've been hearing a lot before and I have been telling everyone now!.
